Rhoda Sufian-Kargbo Nuni

Rhoda Sufian-Kargbo Nuni holds an LL.B. (Hons), LL.M., B.L (Sierra Leone) and B.L (Ontario, Canada). She is a Barrister at Law, Managing Partner, Sufian-Kargbo-Pratt & Co (Barristers and Solicitors). She is a Consultant Senior Legal Officer - Residual Special Court for Sierra Leone Commissioner - Sierra Leone Law Reform Commission.

Basita Michael

Basita Michael is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sierra Leone and a Master of Laws Degree (Order of Merit), BL in international criminal justice from Queen Mary University in London. She is the Founder of SierraEye Magazine, a quarterly magazine.

With her passion for challenging, defending, and speaking out for the disadvantaged and the marginalised, Basita established the Institute of Legal Research and Advocacy for Justice (ILRAJ). (www.ilraj.org). She organized various Moot Court competitions, such as the Nasiru Deen Tejan-Cole and the Edmond Labib Michael Inter-Collegiate competition in 2021. She worked with several women's groups to draft an improved version of the Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Bill. She has been practicing law for the past 18 years in the firm of MICHAEL & MICHAEL.

She was also a lecturer in law at Fourah Bay College. In 2018, she was elected and served as the President of the Sierra Leone Bar Association. She was also a member of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission.

Martin Michael

Martin Michael is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone. He is a Senior Partner in the firm of Michael and Michael. He is the MD Mercury International SL Limited and Chair Radio Mercury.

Between 2008-2010, he lectured law at the Sierra Leone Law School. He is a graduate of Stonyhurst College, Manchester University and Sierra Leone Law School.

Osman Jalloh

Osman Jalloh, BL. LLB, LLM (Taxation & Telecommunications), Msc. Management, ADIT, MCIArb, Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths is a private Legal Practitioner of the Superior Courts of Judicature of Sierra Leone. Osman currently practices as the Lead Partner in the Law and Consulting practice of OJP Legal and OJP Consulting. He has over 15 years experience in legal practice focusing on arbitration, managing large scale acquisitions, joint ventures, transactional corporate and commercial law work, banking, financing, debt securitisation & restructuring, tax and telecommunications and security advisory work; acting as a liquidator, working in matters relating to mining law, employment, conveyancing, real estates and litigation of diverse complex cases.

He is strong and active contributor to the Government of Sierra Leone and the public sector, providing pro bono legal advisory support on law reform, institutional and capacity building. Osman also serves as a director on several boards which include the Institute for Legal Research and Advocacy for Justice and the Sierra International Arbitration Center set up as an alternative and expeditious means for dispute resolution and. Osman also serves as a tutor at the Sierra Leone Law School and a mentor focusing on youth empowerment and capacity building.
